Thank you so much for this info. I actually scrolled back to see if you happened to have this day because I missed it somewhere in all of the posts. The day prior to lockdown I could see a bit of movement as I had from the earliest point I candled. Right before lockdown, however, I looked at them and could see some veinng but just a dark blob and no movement whatsoever. Although the veining looked great and I thought I remembered reading about the fact it would be difficult to see much at this day the posts with everyone hearing peeping and such made me scared...I now feel a lot better about things and am not quite as scared that I may have killed the eggs somehow right before lockdown.Good morning everyone. Lockdown is today at Noon for chicken eggs that were set on the 11th.
What's going on inside our chicken eggs-Day 18:

If you candle today before lockdown this is what the inside of your egg should look like:

The air cell will be very distinct. You may be able to see slight veining under the membrane with the chick directly beneath that.
I was just going to post the same question...I need a diversion from my eggs! It's 3pm here.Is there a list of streams?
Good Morning, I am having the opposite problem it seems compared to many people..I added water and my humidity is ridiculously high. It currently reads 73%. Does anyone know a way I can get it down?
I agree on the pic posting, this is a hatch-along after all! Inquireing minds want to see! I realize some picss are not for the squeamish, but you just have to go past that post really quickly!I know someone objected to the fact you were posting the pics- and I certainly respect their opinion, but I just wanted to let you know the photo and info. provided definitely was usesful and possibly has prevented me from doing something silly as I really was still freaking out about things until a few moments ago when I successfully backtracked and read your post. Thanks!
G'mornin' my Ritchie County friend! Our eggs are starting to very subtly moooveyes and I"ve not had breakfast yet
