4th of July hatch along!

One of the roadside “fridge” eggs pipped this morning. I think one of the Seramas may have too, but it’s hard to tell for sure at this stage.
And so it begins!

This was waiting for me when I got home. She is from one of the two green roadside “fridge eggs”. I have no idea what mix of breeds she might be. Easter Egger of some sort and ???? Hope she is a she, and that she’ll give us green eggs someday. She is a cutie.

One more green egg, and 5 Serama eggs, to go.

Lockdown tomorrow for my two Welshies ducks. I am hoping to get them to hatch, this year has been a bad hatching year for me. 2 out of 24 so far this year.

I just started Lock-down on 9 silkie egg's that had been shipped from Magnolia Silkies over in Florida.

2 Serama eggs have pips this morning. I think the other green egg is a quitter.

I took Fridge Chick out of the ‘bator this morning because she was like Godzilla walking through NYC. She hates being alone, of course, so I gave her a new Mommy. As you can see, pickins are slim around here for stuffies.

What pen did you order colors from? I'm doing the black and the whites. My friend @Michelle Guynn wanted the buffs. We ordered together and split them. Magnolia Silkies mark's the eggs good and they are shipped well from there. Now, I just need to find some of the Showgirl Silkies that I want.

@BlueBaby I ordered a dozen from the BBS pens, with a couple of buffs, if available. I’m happy to hear she marks them well. My experience so far is that not all breeders do. I’m looking for high quality, bearded, showgirls. If you happen to find any let me know!

Pulled 6 more eggs..have 26 in the hatching tray now, so I’m at 70% so far...
One egg has breached the air bubble and is very active! So maybe I’ll have a baby as soon as today!! Lol
It’s small and white, but not as small as a Banty, I think it’s either a Polish or an Old English...it’s kinda pointy compared to the rest...
