The Blue will father 50% blue chicks when mated to black hens.

I love the look of Rockstar! How would the ones available fare with a Bard, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Black Australorp, Buff, Lavender and Jubilee (22 hens in all)?

Thank you!!
Yes, I was too busy to butcher yesterday so I still have Little Boy Blue the Blue Australorp the OEs, Rockstar and Red #2 available.

I'm not good enough at genetics to predict colors and patterns very accurately, but Little Boy Blue would father 50% blue chicks and 50% black chicks with the black hens and since Rockstar and Red #2 are mixed breeds you could get just about anything out of them.

How many do you think you want?

We would be looking to get two. My wife circled the two she likes....they are some handsome cockerels!
