5 day old sick baby goose.

Haunted55~ I am using a still are incubator, hand turning them three times a day with cooling and misting. I have hatched out others before with no problems. Yes I did hold them for a few days. I believe these eggs were held for 4 days. I do wash my hands before and after I turn them. So far all the goose eggs that I have incubated have hatched. 3 out of the 10 were not fertilized and they were tossed out. I have one left the hatch around the 16 of this month. All is doing well so far. He sure is an active dude!

I can't wait to see this little guy!

Sometimes it just happens no matter what we do. If you are changing the way the eggs sit while you are waiting to put them into the incubator, I can't imagine why this happened.
