5 half month old silkie wanting to lay?

I noticed today while watching my silkies I saw my grey hen squating alot. Is she wanting to lay she is about 5/6 months old. Its almost winter? Could she be wanting to lay and should I add a nest because I don't have one in there right now?

Here she is squating. Don't mind all the corn I buy mixed grain feed and they kick the corn aside..LOL

She sure could be... my second laying silkie started 2 weeks ago at 22 weeks old. I was shocked... but when she's ready she's ready!

(My oldest didn't until she was 30 weeks!!!)

I had a 5 1/2 month old silkie start laying this week along with a 7 1/2 month old silkie.
I thought it was so strange that they started laying within a day of each other when they are 2 months apart in age.
