Thank you for your response. The hens are not mine – I have advertised for a friend who has too many at present but does not use the computer.
I know you are only after one, but he is selling them in lots of six. I will ask if he will sell just one on her own.

Well we neever got a reply from the guy so...we contacted a lady about 3 chicks and...WERE GETTING 'EM! 2 are 5-8 weeks old and 1 is 2weeks old! Picking 'em up next weekend!

Chickensaresweet: No they come in white and mottled. I'm getting mottled, it's much more common.
