5 month old RIR hen

I was out locking the coop and one of my little girls was standing on one leg.(normal, it's chilly ) but she started walking and she kinda hopped every few steps. I picked her up and felt her feet and didn't find any reaction or bump or injury. Why would this happen?

She might have sprained her leg. Examine her leg and foot again tomorrow for any bruising, swelling, or any dark spots on here foot pad. If she can't get around well enough to eat and drink, she might need to spend some time resting in a cage for a week or so.
