We are rehoming 5 quail hens as more hatched than we had expected. They are reddish-brown hens (Scarlets), approximately 8 weeks old and lay eggs every day (too many eggs for us to eat!!!). They are calm, quiet and love watermelon and dried mealworms. Very low maintenance, can house them in your backyard, balcony or indoors (as long as cage is kept very clean). They must be kept in a cage or aviary, cannot free range as they will fly away. Located in the San Francisco, CA, please come pick up if interested.
Free to a good home, my only request is that they be kept together as they are bonded (all sisters).
