Hello! I know there are tons of these threads already
I really appreciate everyone that takes time to help me here! I have always purchased sexed chicks but with a shortage in my area this season I gave 6 Tractor Supply straight run Ameraucana chicks a try.
My thoughts since about week 3 have been that two of the silver/white chicks are most definitely Roos. Also the gray/brown I have believed to be a definite pullet all along.
I need help with one white one, the Brown, and tan/Orange one. The Brown and tan/Orange developed tail feathers first just like the obvious pullet so I was thinking pullets. The shape of their tail feathers is the same as the obvious pullet. Their combs are what is making me now question. And the other white one I thought Roo because it still doesn’t even have tail feathers, but it had the second smallest and palest comb!
Thanks for any input!!!
Was thinking pullet, but comb is a bit red?
Was thinking pullet, and comb is still pale, but has 3 rows.
I believe white is definite cockerel and gray/brown definite pullet.
Two obvious (I think) cockerels and one questionable but no tail feathers...
Thought all these were pullets...but now wondering...
No tail feathers but also small pale comb...what’s this?
