I know someone who knows someone who wants little clover. They have a polish flock and were looking for a rooster. I wish I could keep him but that's one less rooster I have to worry about.
We're taking him there next week
We just got rid of a polish rooster yesterday cause he was so aggressive. I am glad that found someone that will give him a good home though! :clap

Yeah whenever we get rid of roosters we ask the people if they are going to eat them or not. Luckily we haven't got any yeses!:)
I have moved into the ok if they eat them territory. People who process animals know that the animals need to be calm and not stressed, so i imagine it would be done humanely. I buy chicken to eat that i am quite certain experience hell before they are processed. So i think people raising them for food are doing one step better than i am.

You don't think they would tell you what you want to hear?
I know I see a lot of "pet only" posts, but once that animal is no longer in your care it's whatever the new owner decides - whether they told you they would or wouldn't.
I mean I'd like to only think good about people, but age has taught me otherwise.

Well I mean the person I'm rehoming to wants a rooster for their polish hens (protection, fertile eggs etc)

I decided to list all 3... when i look closer, little one has pink at the very top of her "nose".. ugh. It'll take a few days to get any takers.. so if i don't see progress on the wattles, I'll keep it.
