5 year old hen dietary advice

At one time I fed a homemade mix with no corn, which is pure starch and turns to sugar once in the body. Decided to add corn to the mix, at a ratio even with the other two grains. At butchering time (extra roosters) I noticed an increased amount of abdominal fat since adding the corn.

They are in a sense they are support animals since I have high spectrum of autism. They are my kids to me. Judge all you want but I'm in college. They help me cope and ate the light of my life. I don't eat any bird or eggs either.

Please stop the bread. It’s really not good for them and the chance of crop impaction and sour crop greatly increases with bread. Both are challenging to treat. And if the condition is not cured it’s fatal.
My chickens won’t eat green bean or pea’s or carrots. I don’t offer green beans at all. I don’t cook their vegetable (removes a lot of nutrients) raw only.
To make vegetables more appealing try shredding them or dice them.
I use what ever is fresh and seasonal from our market. Why serve frozen processed food when a sliced cucumber or shredded cabbage is available? When offering a new food sometimes you might have to introduce it a couple of times. I’ve found dicing fresh foods make them appealing for my birds. Best wishes

Got it once all the bread is gone in reserve I'll make sure to stop they usually get organic its all I had at the house right now and will do i just thank you so much for the advice
