Once3everything is gone bread wise I the freezer no more bread only 1 roll per day I'll keep an eye out for any problems thank yo so much for all the helpful advice I'll update you gals once things are met goal wise

Your welcome your so smart to keep your chickens at a healthy weight. I struggle with giving too many treats. I’ve made many changes I try to do what’s best I’m always learning...now I have a 25 pound of black oil sunflower seeds that will last Forever! I’m going to share with my chicken friends just so I won’t be tempted. I already have a hen who has a sprained leg because she’s too heavy and she landed wrong when she jumped off the perch. So I can relate to your concerns about weight. Good luck

Have any of you guys seen a chicken die from fatty liver hemerge syndrome does it cause seizure like movements and blood coming out of the mouth

Lol I had them do a few jumping jacks for boss but also getting a peck play ball for more encouragement for movement that's about it

I have not. But I worked for a avian vet and we saw a lot of fatty liver disease in pet parrots. Did something happen??

Generally they are just found dead. I don't believe there will be blood, there may be some seizures as most things dying will do that.
