Did you get EEs from her? I got EE eggs from her last year for a Christmas hatch. There was such a variety of colored chicks. Here are the chicks I hatched from her last year.

Hi, everyone! I'm fairly new here although I've been stalking the forums for a while. Count me in for the Hatch-A-Long. I just had approximately 75 new quail chicks hatch so my incubator will good to go again this Saturday. Not sure how many eggs I'll set this time but I'll figure that out when I get home today. Work keeps getting in the way of my hobbies.

Most of my homemade cabinet incubator part arrived at the post office this morning. I'll be busy retooling it. Maybe I'll be able to pull the eggs out of the LG by tomorrow. I've used it several times the way it was but I'm hoping these tweaks will make the behemoth more reliable.

What are the benefits of having quail? I have somebody offering quail eggs, but not sure what I would do with the quail.. I have a HUGE field that would make for a great home for them..

I think it's a learning experience for all of us (most of us?) and EVERYbody loves sharing the knowledge they have. I never would have thought I'd be on an internet forum sharing ideas and thoughts about chickens, hatching and incubators.. but here I am..
