yeah way to try and win the posting contests with double posts

Honest, it was a double post. I hit submit and it asked if I wanted to leave the page, I clicked 'stay on page' and hit submit again. Lo and behold, a double post.
If I wanted to post that much I wouldn't quote so many posts in my answers.

I need to find someone that can help me build a bigger coop! This is addictive and I want to do more of it!

The only thing that is inhibiting me is the size of my housing for them.

I recommend building more coops rather than bigger ones. It's so nice having more housing options for quarantine, broodies, breeding, etc..
Lmao. I read this fast and i though i saw "how are things going with your rooster eggs?"
I was going to ask how you get eggs from a rooster? Or do you plan on all your chicks to be roos?

Yeah, I heard roosters lay the brown ones.
Seriously, a woman asked her husband why brown eggs were more expensive than white ones and he told her it was cause roosters don't lay as many eggs as hens.

Modern problems.

I'd like to take this moment to make an announcement....
I am a chicken addict and am becoming a hatching addict. My husband's going to come home one day and find me buried under a veritable mountain of chicks.

OMG! The husband just told me if I can find Dorking hatching eggs, he will get them for me! Yaaaay! I've been wanting Dorkings since the beginning but hubs wanted mixed breeds and I ended up with silkies. Whatevs I'm ready for them. Hopefully I can find some for not too much price wise but that will be good breeding stock.
