Yes, if the sizes are similar they will integrate within a week. I have done this before!

I've only been raising chickens this year and I have to say I put them all together once they get like 2 months old. I've only had a few where I knock them back and then they are ok with the new ones. Then again I've been adding chicks and removing left and right since I started so they never have a 100% order it's more like they get they're clicks. one group and another group and a few that go random areas or a few group jumpers.

I have to say I've been very lucky with this I have heard of horror stories of people having them peck when doing what I do.

I have three daughters.

They will not see that picture....Well maybe....

I used to raise parrots years ago, and we once had scissor beak, there was nothing we could do for it. I do not know for certain you can not have it fixed by a vet? But if it's not sever the little one can live a normal life you will just have to feed and water it in deep dishes and possibly feed damp food. The crossed beak makes it hard for them to pick up feed.

I will also mention this can be a genetic issue so you do not wanna use the bird as a breeder.

I hope this helps some.

Here are some pictures....her beak isnt all too bad but its still slipped.

Not according to what I read it's fast feathering roo over a slow feathing hen.

This is the best post I've found for sexlink information.

Please refer to Loyl Stromberg's guide "Sexing all Fowl".
I've been using this method for many years, and while I'm NOT going to tell you I've never been wrong, the number of times would be a single digit.
Please note that I posted Standard Breeds - you are referring to crosses, to which I specifically stated it may or may not be applicable.

Ok will do. I just mainly use that post. I don't do pure breeds so I don't feather sex I'm working on just doing ee/oe sexlinks.
