Rhodebars sound good!

Ideally Id like to hatch some Cream Legbars eggs but they wont be laying quite yet, my pullets are only about 18 weeks old. Hopefully I will get a few sporadic eggs from my other hens. If not I have been eying some eggs in the buy/sell/trade section. I also know of someone local to me that has some nice quality Dominique. I may message her.

CLs do take a bit to start laying--20 weeks or so. Dominiques are on my list too. I like the cockoo barring and white eggs.

Brinsea sent a replacement motor for the turning cradle very quickly to me.

I registered it so have an extra warranty on it. It was on for 8 months this year so it did get a work out.

I bought it used which the guy ripped me off paid 200$ and now he won't answer my emails. I can buy the part for 169$. Still cheaper then buying the unit new. I will teach me not to buy things I can't put in my hands.

That is so sad!

Is the Brinsea one of the cabinet models? I have an Octagon 40 EX Advance incubator. I love it!

I would be in so much trouble with a Cabinet incubator....

Muscovy (35 days) - 11/27/12
Goose (31 days) - 12/1/12
Duck, Turkey, Pheasant (28 days) - 12/4/12
Guinea Fowl (26 days) - 12/6/12
Chicken (21 days) - 12/11/12
Coturnix Quail (18 days) - 12/14/12

It is time to arrange for eggs!

I always have a hard time thinking mine will lay. Trying not to have to buy eggs this year
