I have a question regarding placement of our incubator. We heat with wood only. Yes, this normally works fine in our part of CA as passive solar will heat the house 1/2way and wood the rest. Right now it is excessively cold and we are having to keep our living quarters blazing hot to keep the bedrooms up to 60. Where is the best spot for our incubator? Will it be affected by outside temp? Genesis HB 1588. First time hatchers - with odd questions.![]()
In a place that is quiet and keeps the most stable temperature. Out of the light and not drafty but with good air flow.
Kitchen table, no. My incubators are in the master bedroom closet.
boiling point or freezing point. Stick it into some ice water and see if it says 32.How do you calibrate a thermometer?
