Well the chick with the bloody pip seems to be very active and has opened the pip up enough to see in. Should be zipping soon.
YAY! Right after you posted about it, I was moving the dry ones to temp. brooder, and noticed one of my pips also had a pink spot where the tiny hole in the membrane was (outer shell had fallen off pip area) I worried...
Mine has also opened up the hole a bit, and I don't see any blood besides the pink on the edge of torn membrane,, so I'm counting on it being just a good aim at a very small vein, maybe? Glad yours is doing so well!
