Every morning i have to go out and take the chicks out of the coop. They go in just fine in the evening. Is there a reason they won't leave or do they just eventually learn to come out when I open the door? First flock(7) by the way. Thanks!
My broods are typically in the range of 20 chicks. Sometimes when I open the pop door every chick is on the ground within 15 minutes. Sometimes it takes into the third day for the last one to leave.
I keep food and water both in the coop and in the run. I don't let them stress me out and I try to not stress them. I don't know your backstory or what your coop/run look like, but I don't see anything to be concerned about.
