6 month old Broody hatching First time Journal

Ok! Day 7
Candling day! I'm going to wait until roost time the sun is down and the mansion will be dark.

I'll put Rambita in another box and while staying close to the ground I'll candle each egg.
I've never done this before, ever so I am a bit nervous which is why I'll keep close to the ground lol

I've researched what to expect and what to look for
1. Veins
2. Blood ring means non viable
3.any one that I can't tell I will carefully mark to candle again in a few days

Secondly my plan will be to candle on day 14 then I will put her in lockdown by creating a temporary enclosure so the eggs won't be bothered by another layer etc. And that will serve as the chicks temporary home

:fl:fl here's hoping for 4 eggs with veins!:fl:jumpy:jumpy:jumpy:jumpy

Well they are brown/light brown eggs and i couldnt really see anything i waited until tonight day 9
I think in 1 or 2 I might of seen a vein or two in one all I could see was maybe a poor quality shel
In the ee brown speckled I couldn't see squat

I took a video which might show nothing as well I'll upload it soon, I'm a bit disappointed I couldn't see anything but I guess I'll just go with it and keep hoping nature didn't need Candling before... lol

The good thing about having a broody is that they'll usually kick out the ones that don't develop. The eggs you can't see in drive me bonkers.
