I have a silkie hen about 6 months old and not laying yet but today when i went out to feed them i found her segregated from the group and standing awkwardly just pushing. I took her inside and gave her a warm bath and cleaned up her bum which was caked with poop. Not bloody, looked normal. And a few hours later she is just still next to me on the bed just standing with her head kind of down and eyes closed and Keeps pushing. I did put some coconut oil around her vent. She will not eat or drink atm. I’m not sure why she is acting this way so if anyone else has any ideas please lmk. She just looks very uncomfortable. Thanks in advance.

Mabye she is egg bound, can you try and feel to see if you can feel an egg,you could give her an epson bath and try to see if she will eat scrambled eggs or mabye there is a food you know she likes very much you can try and give her. Also some calsium tablet you dissolve in water and give her that is what probably saved my eggbound hens life😊
The first egg can be hard to get out for some hens
Is she pooping, if she is, how does it look?
How does her crop feel?
