6 month olds not laying everyday

I know my girls are stilll young but I have already lost one to being egg bound and my remaining are only laying one egg every other day sometimes every two days. Is this ok?

You know, sometimes it depends on the breed, or even the individual chicken. For example, my Easter Eggers lay less eggs than my Buff Orpington and Barred Rock.

My flock is around 7mths old, I have 9 hens {various breeds} and get anywhere from 6-9 eggs a day.

That makes sense. Im so worried to lose another to being egg bound but im going to look up the breed. Thank you
