All of them are like this chick?I’ll take more photos in a little bit it’s pouring here right now. If Meyer made a mistake and sent me a bunch of cockerels I’d rather figure it out sooner rather than later.

Yep. I can pick out the olive egger because she has a pea comb and feathered legs and is a little bit darker than the others. The others look a lot like this. I have ordered 15 barred rock pullets from Meyer before and it was perfectAll of them are like this chick?
My Barred Rock is 15 weeks & her comb isn't that big either.
Such a cutie, too. That stinks. Sorry! I had to get rid of one of mine at 8 weeks. B/c she was really a he. Awful.
Could totally be yellow skin. Sometimes I have a hard time seeing it in pics when they're this young.

Here are my pullets at 6-7 weeks. They are confirmed BR. They are now 20 weeks and some have started laying. They all matured very differently age wise, and combs looked different each week pullet to pullet. All of them are like this chick?
Their combs are not as tall as OP's.Here are my pullets at 6-7 weeks. They are confirmed BR. They are now 20 weeks and some have started laying. They all matured very differently age wise, and combs looked different each week pullet to pullet.
Interesting! Thank you. I guess time will tell. Usually my surprise cockerels start crowing by now (although I’ve never had a surprise BR cockerel!)Here are my pullets at 6-7 weeks. Fair. I think in 2-3 weeks it will be easier to tell for certain. I just wouldn't write it off as one yet.Their combs are not as tall as OP's.
If OP's is a pullet (could be a super fast developing one), that is a huge comb for 6 weeks.
Maybe fast to mature? I've personally never had Barred Rock pullets look like this, & I grew up raising them.Yep. I can pick out the olive egger because she has a pea comb and feathered legs and is a little bit darker than the others. The others look a lot like this. I have ordered 15 barred rock pullets from Meyer before and it was perfectso I would be surprised if this order was messed up wrong sex and wrong breed. I thought barred rocks were supposed to be easy to sex from hatch. I’m attaching a couple other photos of different chicks in the same brood. The first is from two weeks ago the second is from 1 week ago.
100% agree.Fair. I think in 2-3 weeks it will be easier to tell for certain. I just wouldn't write it off as one yet.
