I have five 6 week old Easter Eggers. All 5 were bought together. It has been awhile since we have raised day old chicks. They all seem happy and healthy. The 3 smaller chicks are incredibly friendly and love to sit in our laps. The two " bigger" chicks ( one might be a rooster as its developing comb is redder with 3 ridges instead of one, and its feet are bigger) are not friendly and have sort of bonded with each other. They are always hanging out together in rest and play. When I offer meal worms the potential rooster has no interest. Perhaps I was expecting more consistency in their personalities. Is this all normal? Thanks
