Back again, with my newest chicks! My last batch of "new hampshire red pullets" ended up being mixed breeds and whats looking like 4 cockerels...hoping for better luck with these.
The silver laced wyandottes are 7 weeks old and the other four (buff orp, black australorp, two easter eggers) are 6 weeks. The wyandottes and easter eggers I'm not as familiar with. One wyandotte is bigger than the other, and they both have pinkish combs/wattles but they are small; their combs are mostly grey with only a hint of pink at the far back, and they're quite flat. They're also pretty round, unlike my cockerels that were always lanky with longer legs, but i don't know if that means anything. The easter eggers both have the same patterning, one has a flatter comb. I know they're still young, but any thoughts?
