6 week old polish.. pullet or cockerel?

It was the head feathers on this one that’s been throwing me off lol. My other polish look more tidy.

Could we have a side pic of the full body, it looks male. The first is a pullet.

white crested black is a pullet.

the first one you posted is most likely a cockerel based on crest but need more pics

Darn! I’m a new chicken owner and am having trouble determining genders. Is the messy hair and neck feathers the distinguishing factor?
