6 week old polish.. pullet or cockerel?

no problem. Also, if you pick them up and hold back their crests with one hand you may see the start of two bumps at the top of the comb which is the start of the V comb coming in. Pullets won't have that.

Here’s the welsummer in question..

I see very thick legs and some suspicious looking saddles but I'm not overly familiar with Welsummers having never kept them myself. Maybe others can be more help?

Thanks for the insight. I was concerned about those feathers by the tail too. I’m going to check out more pictures of other welsummers and try to get a better idea.

Just posting some updated pictures of my two rooster suspects at 20 weeks. No one has crowed yet. The silver laced is still pretty timid, but the golden laced chases after me. Hopefully it won’t become aggressive.

They look like kooky pullets to me. I think you'll get eggs rather than crows. Not all Polish hens are as neatly crested as your white-crested black girl.
X2, gold-laced could go either way but I’m leaning heavily toward pullet on the silver laced. Cockerels should be a little more obvious by now - but polish are tricky.
