Thanks for the insight. I was concerned about those feathers by the tail too. I’m going to check out more pictures of other welsummers and try to get a better idea.I see very thick legs and some suspicious looking saddles but I'm not overly familiar with Welsummers having never kept them myself. Maybe others can be more help?
X2, gold-laced could go either way but I’m leaning heavily toward pullet on the silver laced. Cockerels should be a little more obvious by now - but polish are tricky.They look like kooky pullets to me. I think you'll get eggs rather than crows. Not all Polish hens are as neatly crested as your white-crested black girl.
