6 week old polish.. pullet or cockerel?

Interesting! I think the golden laced is likely a boy. It has small horns developing and follows very closely by my feet. I’ve been wondering if it does that because it can’t see and is often separated from the flock.
Hens do get horns, and polish roosters grow them in much slower than other breeds, so that’s tough to go by but you could be right.
My polish followed me close too, and I agree it had something to do with their vision. The more they could see the more they wandered.
Post again in a couple weeks - the gold one has a few suspicious feathers that look sickleish, but it’s too soon to call for sure :)

So here they are at 6.5 months old. Neither crow or lay eggs. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Polish aren't the best layers to start with, so you probably won't get eggs until the days get longer, but I'd expect eggs from both.

Eventually, lol...
The golden laced is just so bold compared to my other chickens. Have you had a polish rooster before? I feel like it should have crowed by now if it was one, but polish seem to be very unique!

Here’s an update on the two polish. They are nine months old now and still don’t lay or crow. My white crested just started laying a few weeks ago so maybe soon! Safe to say they are both ladies?
