I swear, the luck I've had with this flock so far. . .

This is my first flock, I got 20 day old chicks, 3 were meant to be roosters. I had one female die on me within the first week, that was mostly due to my poor first aid (I thought her crop was impacted), though I think she wouldn't have made it anyway. I have a female scissor beak (who is doing fine, other than being a bit runty), and one of my roosters just dropped dead while I was away from the house one evening. Found him dead on his back, I assumed it was a heart attack.

So the rest are doing fine, but I have 1 female Cinnamon Queen that has just been acting odd since last weekend. She just stands around, not acting like a chicken, often times with her eyes closed. She just seems tired all the time. If I go to pick her up she'll get feisty, and I have seen her peck at food and water in the past few days, just never for very long and not very enthusiastically. I see no signs of trauma or damage on her. She seems perfectly normal other than her behavior. My first chick that died I would have described as VERY lethargic, would kinda stand there and wobble, never opened her eyes, this isn't quite like that. She will move around occasionally, she just doesn't act like the rest of the flock. I've checked her crop, it's empty, no blockage that I can find from touch. I've reintroduced ACV into their water in hopes that might help her.

I just moved them to their outdoor coop today, they have not really been "outside" yet. Just in a big brooder box in my basement.

Any ideas what could be wrong with her?

What are you feeding them?

And do you have or can you get some poultry NutriDrench? That and/or savachick should help no matter what's wrong with her

Been feeding them unmediated Purina brand chicken feed. They were vaccinated for Marek's at birth. I should be able to get some Nutridrench. Thanks for the pointer!

Okay, Purina is a pretty good feed, I fed the flock raiser to mine over the winter when they weren't laying :)

I'm assuming it's some sort of chick feed?

Believe it or not some people feed the weirdest things to chicks hah

She shouldn't have Mareks or anything then and the symptoms don't sound like it either. It could just be some sort of nutritional thing so I would definitely try the NutriDrench first! Then if that doesn't work, we can look at other possibilities.

No problem! :)
