Hi all! This white guy/gal is supposed to be a pullet but I'm worried about how pink this comb is. This is a 6 week old "super blue egg layer" from My Backyard Chicken. FWIW they are supposed to have pea combs, or very rarely single combs. Pullet or cockerel?

At six weeks, that’s most likely a cockerel. With a breed name like that, though, I’d expect it to be a hybrid breed, which probably matures fast. So it could be just a fast growing pullet. :)

Cockerel it has three rows of peas and that color in the comb is saying male.

Definitely a cockerel, but the 'three rows of peas' turns out to be largely true, but not an actual 100% determination. Totally use it as rule of thumb, and makes me watch the 'three peas' much closer as they grow!
