6 week old Super Blue Egg Layer

Hi all! This white guy/gal is supposed to be a pullet but I'm worried about how pink this comb is. This is a 6 week old "super blue egg layer" from My Backyard Chicken. FWIW they are supposed to have pea combs, or very rarely single combs. Pullet or cockerel?

It could go either way right now. Try getting some more when its 10 weeks old.

Also, it does have a pea comb.

At six weeks, that’s most likely a cockerel. With a breed name like that, though, I’d expect it to be a hybrid breed, which probably matures fast. So it could be just a fast growing pullet.

Thanks, I wasn't sure what to make of it because the comb seems bigger than those on my other girls this age.

Here we are at 8 weeks old, and I'm not feeling optimistic that this is a pullet. Any other opinions?

Cockerel it has three rows of peas and that color in the comb is saying male.

Definitely a cockerel, but the 'three rows of peas' turns out to be largely true, but not an actual 100% determination. Totally use it as rule of thumb, and makes me watch the 'three peas' much closer as they grow!
