I thought girl at first but I too see those thick legs.I’ve been flip flopping a lot on this one. I have very little experience though, I only have 8 chickens. I must say that this little ones legs are massive. I’m crossing my fingers it’s a hen
Fwiw, saddle and hackle feathering do not develop gender differentiated shape until later juvenile molts around 14 weeks of age. Prior to that their shape and texture is the sameI see no color in the comb or wattles. The saddle feathers appear to be round although the picture isn't real clear. I wouldn't be too quick to call it a rooster. Give it another week.![]()
