Oh I am so hoping it’s a pullet! I’ll update pictures in a couple weeks. The legs are what make me think cockerel.

Well here’s some updated pictures. Two weeks since the last ones.

Pullet! 8 weeks and no red comb usually means she's a pullet

Looks like a cockerel to me. I'm seeing thin hackle feathers and that sweeping back and down look of the saddle has me thinking. I'm not sure of the breeding on this bird, it looks like a crossbred. But it looks to have a significant amount of Orpington in it. Which are notoriously slow developing. In my opinion "taking in all available factors" this is a cockerel.

Hmmm so tricky! I said pullet first time, cockerel second time and now I'm thinking pullet again lol. If it were a slow developing cockerel I would still expect to see a little more development in the comb
