Well I know I won't be able to resist next time I rotate egg positions! But I always see in the eggs better at night. No extra light creeping in from windows. Maybe I can hold off until tonight at least

I have with my cell phone flashlight app. Day 4 on light cream colored bantam Cochin eggs. I'm trying so hard to behave this time around though!

Yes!! Way too early to call any out.. But plenty late enough to call the definite "ins".. I'm TERRIBLE about early candling tho. :/

As for the broody candling question- I've only had my broody hatch once so far. I didn't candle much at all. I figure, they sort out the duds themself. Takes a lot of temptation off me having to wait til after dark too. I'm asleep by then as early as I get up!!
