She is pretty!!!  What is the timing on the Easter hatch-a-long?  To hatch on Easter?

Last years Easter hatch-a-long we set eggs on March 29. I think it's safe to say the BYC community will be doing it again so watch for it. It's so much fun.

I quickly pulled the backward one out and checked him. The vessels in the membrane are drying up nicely, but not quite there yet. Seems to be vigorous still and not in distress. So a bit of ointment on the membrane and back in the bator he went. He is one of those "accidental" LOxBA eggs.

Off subject but tomorrow is opening day for deer gun here in WV and I'm so excited! I have taken a 9 point buck and a doe this year with my bow. Hopefully my son gets one this year. He has had bad luck the past couple seasons and I think his luck is gonna change this year.

I was supposed to set a group of BLRW yesterday, but I got distracted... I'm going to put them in today. This will force me to set my NYD hatch eggs late, which is ok as we travel over New Years and I am NOT bringing the incubator in the car again! My Eggies will remain safely at home and hatch a day or 2 after everyone else's.

Off to the Italian Market to do some shopping for turkey day!

I wish I had a Italian market around here. I might ask her about buying some eggs from her is she has any.
