This is Sweet-pee. I hatched her for the Easter hatch-a-long.

So excited...I found some bantam cochin eggs (although I have to have them shipped, praying they survive the cold!!), I picked out an incubator that is newbie friendly, my brooder design is coming together AND the final piece was to convince my DH that this was a good idea. Success!!

Ty everyone. She is such a friendly girl. Likes to be held and and petted. My youngest daughter gave her the name because she is so tame and friendly. Always ready for interaction (Treats lol)

I have pippers in my bator this morning!

Unfortunately, the very first one pipped in the wrong end.

It seems to be ok so far. It has enlarged the hole a fair bit and doesn't seem distressed. Still some blood in the membrane so it isn't ready to come out yet. I'm keeping a close eye on it. The others have pipped where they are supposed to so far. As far as I can see anyway.
