Tommysgirl: dominiques seem like a cool breed. They look alot like my cuckoo Marans. I can get those hatching eggs locally for $2 per dozen. I may try them

If they are frozen but the shell does not break, they will still hatch.

Yes, which is why the cold is not as bad as heat for hatching eggs. I think it was Mitch last year or the year before that hatched eggs that had been frozen but the shell was not cracked.

I did do some poking around and there have been some studies on it.

Eggs are amazing!

Wow! I did NOT know that! I knew from personal experience that fridge eggs could be hatched. But I thought freezing killed them. Eggs really are amazing!!
