6th Annual BYC New Year's Day 2015 Hatch-A-Long

Had lots of help this afternoon watering the chickens. A 6 year old, a 5 year old and a 21 1/2 month old. Each had to take turns at each run. So much help. Had I had to do it by myself it would have taken about half the time.. Oh we'll sure enjoyed the grandsons helping Pops out with the chickens.

Nice job introducing them to the farm!

I have not ordered eggs for months! It felt weird. Now, I have some on the way for this hatch a long. Glad I don't have to worry about cold cold weather this yr. like last. it's been in the high 50's, and will stay near the 50's for around 5 more days. If my eggs are on time, I won't have to worry about the cold...like this.

That's exactly what our forecast is supposed to be for the next 5 days.

/me looks over my shoulder to be sure Cynthia12 isn't standing behind me.
