6th Annual BYC New Year's Day 2015 Hatch-A-Long

I think I have decided on the Brinsea eco 20. Going to order soon. So excited! I have a question though. I think Ron posted this thermometer/hygrometer the other day: http://incubatorwarehouse.com/incubator-thermometer-hygrometer.html Assuming I am reading right the eco 20 does not come with a hygrometer. Would this one work in it? Will it fit?
Thanks for putting up with my newbie questions!

I have the Eco 20 and that hygrometer. (You are correct that the Eco does not have one.) It works well for me. I incubate in egg cartons with the bottoms cut out so I put the Hygrometer on one of the cups to keep it level with the center of the eggs and to keep it from sliding when the bator turns from side to side.

(P.S. I had a heck of a time using the bars provided to keep the eggs from moving so that is why I use the egg cartons.)

Question for @ronott1 - you mentioned that you hatched in cartons; do you incubate in them also?

I incubate in the brinsea using the rails and foam inserts and in the Genesis 1588 using the auto turning rails. both keep the eggs big end up.

The brinsea is tricky because you have to adjust the rails for the different egg sizes and then move the egg around to get them all to fit.

The Eco 20 doesn't come with the foam inserts, just the rails. Wonder if I could order them...

So Brinseas UK site has them but the US site doesn't!

Call them up and ask for them. The also have an email tech support system that works well.

The foam is part of the advance kit so it came with the auto turner cradle and humidity pump.
