It's true of anything we're waiting on to hatch!

I was fit to be tied on day 15, 16, 17 for my quail hatch... This is my first time hatching chickens... I'll be in quite a tizzy on day 19 and 20, I'm sure!!!

LOLOL. That looks like me, with a little more frequent "GAAH!!!" I start doing that as soon as I see movement, which is usually on the 7-day candle. I think it gets louder at days 14, 21, & 23 (other weighing/candling days, plus lockdown on 23). Then the hubby and I both obsess over watching the security camera we have on that bator, waiting to see pipping.

We do a LOT of telling one another over that final 3 days, "Stop watching the camera and get back to work!"

can somebody help with the classifieds? I'm trying to post an ad in the 'hatching egg' classifieds and the screen just does nothing when I try to submit it. I did close an ad I had open previously so that could be the hangup? Does anyone know what I need to do? I could not find any answers in FAQ..

My test batch has one external pipper! Their peeping!! I splashed an egg when I added some water to the bator... Is that bad? I dried him off... First bator hatch...

A chicken farmer goes into the hospital with his pregnant wife and exclaims "Help! Our baby has pipped!!!"

And that's a BAD thing?? Good luck with your hatch! I hope you get 100%!!!

I have my first egg, small end down, in a carton, resting lopsided on a bottle to "turn" them, in my garage, which has decent humidity and stays coolish. ^_^
