Ha..just a bit later for some..just getting on, but it's still morning here! Have a great day all...now to catch up with all of you.

I set BBS Australorps(Blue black splash) and Trader Joes Leghorn eggs yesterday.

The incubator and humidity pump are working so far. I hope I have the tubing wound correctly this time on the pump.

I just love to watch the broody hens with their babies. They are so tender with them and the way they pick out food from the feeder and drop it in front of them to show them the food. And boy do they get upset when they feel their babies are in danger. And the roo gets plain mean. They mean business when they say leave my babies alone

I so agree..so fun to watch the mama hen. I have been blessed to be able to see that a few times. I loved my little cochin with hers.

That is probably why I was thinking of a "pattern". Lol:lol:
And I was thinking that I might get the response is, Oh, I just move them around. Which would probably be fine. That just makes my brain hurt. Whatever way we do it I'm going to write it down so that we can see how it works. Diagrams would be delightful

Don't hurt your brain! No pattern necessary! I just move them any ol way..as I pick one up, I move it where ever I just moved another.

So, we are finally getting a Trader Joes! Right here in town, what are the eggs that they sell..all white? Browns? Guessing the whites are leghorn, and browns..who knows? I am excited to see if they will have eggs in this store when it opens.
