I seem to have caught the flu that my 6yo has been battling all qeek long. It has unfortunately slowed time down today. Lots of time to read around on BYC though.

well I got side tracked putting another fence post in the free range area and putting a deer deterrent fence around my garden lol

It sure is tough sitting on your hands and waiting for candling day! I've been reading up on chicken embryo development cause I want to follow along with them even though I can't touch them or see inside yet. I learned that their itty-bitty barely formed hearts start beating around the 42 hour mark. So most of our incubators should be full of wee little heart beats by now!! Soo cute even if I can't hear them

. I wonder if you could hear it with a stethoscope? That would be so cool!

         Oh my yes! We went with a simple Farm Innovators model and have had great luck with it! No baking these eggs! LOL

LOVE LOVE LOVE my farmers innovator! I have 3 chrirtmas eggs in there right mow cooking...but in a good way! LOL i have one clear but my other two are looking good! My premium one brooder should be here monday!
