LOL...that just reminds me...I once freaked out cause i candled on day 2 and i couldnt see anything....Yes!! Way too early to call any out.. But plenty late enough to call the definite "ins".. I'm TERRIBLE about early candling tho.![]()
As for the broody candling question- I've only had my broody hatch once so far. I didn't candle much at all. I figure, they sort out the duds themself. Takes a lot of temptation off me having to wait til after dark too. I'm asleep by then as early as I get up!!

These are the official candling days. You will be looking for air cells to be a similar percentage of the egg on those days. Humidity is adjusted based on development.
