Like the reuse of the side table...really cleaver and works great!

Thanks! Yes the table is great! Lot of room for the girls. They seem to really like it too. I was worried when I pulled them out of the other nest to put them in the table nest that they would freak out and go back to the other nest or stop wanting to sit but they come back to it every time so far.

Okay 11 clear eggs and 1 blood ring out of the bator. So 20 eggs still in the running with 3 = " ? " 1 being a cracked one that was repaired.

Now for the hatch rate (not for HAL contest), do we throw out the clear eggs and count what hatches out of fertile eggs (for our own records) ? I think for contest it's based on how many set to how many hatches.

We go by a total hatch rate--It is easier to figure out that way and another reason to keep them in unless they stink.

cool down starts on day 8 and goes to day 18.

The hens get off the eggs every day starting on day 1.

yes that is the easiest way for HAL, I think I will remove the infertile ones but add the quitter to my spread sheet as start total.
