if things keep looking good as they are! so have seen few mention aircells seem stuck is there something that can help aircell growth or even if you needed to slow aircell growth down? Also I am assuming the gang will start filling in the pointy end of the eggs and make shadow candling their movement even harder yes?

Thinking about doing lock down on day 19 instead of 18. I have a still air for hatch out and fan and turner in the incubator they're in now. So one is 99.5 where the other needs to be 101 so my thought are to try setting the 19th instead of 18th day. Last hatch started on day 21 through 23. The only thing I have changed on this hatch is I am running a lot dryer. (air cells look great) room humidity is 45% inside bator is 15-35%.

Here's my conundrum:
The top of the eggs reads 101-102. Great! However, the floor of the incubator reads 93. Not great. I'm hoping that the floor reading is not equal to the bottom of the eggs. I had it warmer, but in order to get 97 at floor level, the top temp has to be 104, and I'm worried that's too hot. The incubator is on the floor, so maybe that has something to do with it. I put it on a towel hoping that would help.

I had a bunch with spraddle leg.... too long in the egg I guess... and the bandaid tape thing was not really working for me. They are so tiny! I had them in a little basket in the brooder and kept setting them on their legs and then a couple of them I just held in my hand so they were on their legs in the right position and just held them for 5 or so minutes and then they started walking normally. All but one made it and there were probably 7 or so. I will lower humidity for these little guys next time!

Have you hatched with either of those thermometers before? I would be inclined to trust the top one especially if there is healthy development in the eggs and not worry about the bottom one.
