so I was wondering why my infertile eggs never seeped or smelled? as I only took em out of the incubator the other day but they never showed signs of ickiness is it because it was infertile as aposed to quiters?

I'm kind of confused, too. If I set on Dec 11, wouldn't that make today day 17? Or do you not count the first day as day 1? Lockdown starts tomorrow, right? 

Monday will be day 18. If you set on a Thursday (December 11), count back three days before hatch (January 1). According to my calculations that would be Monday (December 29).

I just candled and all of them are still going, So I have 17 of 24 Trader Joes eggs developing and 7 of 11 Blue Australorp eggs going.

After a class in Santa Fe today we stopped in at the local Trader Joe's. The Julian date on the fertile egg cartons was 357...today is 361. 35 will be going into the incubator tomorrow.

(I dropped one while candling their FABULOUS intact air cells... the shells look super, too. A nice chalky white and not overly porous)
