Cool, thank you! I don't know why I can't count, lol! I was thinking that the chicks would be hatching closer to midnight on the 1st. Duh! However, this means I may not get to see any of them hatch. I am leaving town the 1st-5th. My roommate will be getting all the new chick joy.

Our Christmas diner is tomorrow. This is my version of turducken. There is a young heritage tom in pieces, a small ancona drake whole & 2 young mixed breed roosters (about 5 months old) whole. I'll simmer it all over night in my homemade chicken stock.

Looks so yummy

After a class in Santa Fe today we stopped in at the local Trader Joe's. The Julian date on the fertile egg cartons was 357...today is 361. 35 will be going into the incubator tomorrow.

(I dropped one while candling their FABULOUS intact air cells... the shells look super, too. A nice chalky white and not overly porous)

Those are very fresh!

Wish all shipped eggs looked so good!

Same with the TJs eggs I have in for the hatch a long.
