My sister was getting rid of this shelf that is a big box so I put a plywood back on it and cut out holes for 2 fans and I have a large box with plywood door that goes on the back to access lights and wiring and thermostat I ordered today. I almost went to home depot today to get wood for the front door... just a frame with plexiglass window. The turning will still be manual but just a cord on the outside that turns the trays. Here is how it looks so far...

I love the incubator!

Did you start a thread for it? A lot of us would follow your hatching adventure.

Here are the pics!! Oh yeah, i took the 2 eggs that were clear, but the other 46 were alive and healthy!!!


Okay...humidity is at 63 and temp at 37.5 excactly!!!


46 eggs into lockdown...hope 46 come out...

I'm out. My broody let all her eggs freeze last night and one exploded...
I guess I will try again for Easter maybe.

That is so sad!

Aww,,,well at least there is en Easter hatch along coming up!!!

Anyway...one of my broodies quit.... Is it okay if i put those eggs in with the NYD eggs (they are on the same days) There were 6 so now there are 52 eggs in the bator!!

Oh yes, you can move them into the incubator any time you need to.

Oh wait...nvm i meant to say that i recandled and one of the ones i thought was dead...actually wasnt!! So, now there are 47!!!!

We love to see pictures but the set is not required. Even the pictures of chicks that hatch is only necessary for the hatch rate contest.
