Watch the crack and see if it moves. Also, of it looks like it is trying to zip and not moving, it may be stuck. So this is what the egg looks like now...not much progress and it doesn't cheep anywhere near as loud as its sibling did when hatching. It s still alive ad I see it pressing against the membrane every now and then. How does it look??? Should I start worrying now? When should I intervene? Its been at least 12 hours since I woke up ad found it. I'm gonna be up ALL night at this rate..Some good news though, there are 2 more pips. that's 4 in total including the one in the pic and the one that already hatched. All are green/blue eggs too

Ventilation is very important now. I hope your bator has good air flow and the room they are in needs to have fresh air. Ventilation, temperature and humidity need to be correct.ron are there signs to look for in the chicks if they are having problems with breathing?? heavy panting ect? sorry I just keep thinking with the hatching and them increasing the humdity breathing issues can occure.... I THINK my other eggs are chirping....no more pips though![]()

Can you safely lower the temperature to 98?
FINALLY the first pip in the incubator! A few cheeping in the incubator. But they are quieter than the last batch. Most of these are Buff Orps. I heard cheeping from some of the 4 eggs I slipped under my broody this evening too. But I'm just staying out of her hair until morning.
This quiet incubator is killing me!
Cute chicks everyone!!! I can't WAIT to see those Sizzle chicks once they dry and fluff Cynthia!
