Sorry for the delay in the photo's I said I would post. We've had a very busy few days.
I'll quickly post some now and then go back and catch up on the thread

All in all, 6 out of the 12 wriggling eggs that went into lockdown hatched. The suspicious 13th was an early quitter before it went into lockdown, as suspected and eggtopsies showed 1 of the other 6 shrinkwrapped and the other 5 didn't even start absorbing their yolk sacs.

So we're down back down to 6 little blessings!!!  The really strange thing is we don't have any grey hens and our rooster is a BA but all of the chicks seem to be a grey color.  While they were wet, I thought they were black but now that they're completely dry and I've really been looking closely at their feather coloring, they are all grey.  Does that make sense?

My chicks are all half australorp and half easter egger and ALL my chicks seem to be blue too. Now my easter egger roo is a splash color with red shoulders. Im wondering if i have the black+splash=blue thing going on?

Heres my crew! Still have 3 eggs in the bator but they dont seem to be doing anything. Im gonna water candle them later and see whats going on.

Hatch day was supposed to be yesterday, maybe they are just running a little late, sigh. Im bummed for her.

If I don't have chicks by tomorrow Im not sure what to do.
