Got these two as Ameraucanas from TSC, but from what I read, most likely they’re easter eggers (??)

They’re also growing very differently, #1 has no fluffy cheek, legs are not as green, and patterns on her feathers. She’s also a good inch smaller.

#2 is larger, feathers seem shinier, has a light brown head coloration, fluffy cheeks, and light olive legs.... and every so slight comb.

Can you guys tell me more about them, and what their differences might mean?
I have black sexlinks and russian orloffs, which are growing quite predictably, but these two seem quite different from each other!
Fingers cross they’re both hens, lol.

They do indeed appear to be Easter Eggers. Easter Eggers are basically a mixed breed type bird that usually have pea combs and usually have muffs, and usually lay blue or green eggs, but may also lay brown, and since they aren't a real breed, they come in all kinds of colors and patterns.

Should have added this in the first post...Because easter eggers are a mixed breed, they can look completely different from each other. Many easter eggers get the fluffy cheeks, but many don't. Leg color also varies a lot. I have seen slate, olive, green, yellow-green, and yellow legs on easter eggers. Easter eggers also come in so many different colors and patterns, it's actually surprising to see that yours are very similar.

Thanks for the info, it was very helpful! I'm excited about what types of eggs I will be getting.... next year, lol.
